The Company, Environment and Position

From our discussions with the relevant key personnel on visits to the client organisation and in conjunction with the client, we develop and clearly define a Vacancy Specification and Company Briefing, which set out the Company History and Environment and the basic responsibilities of the position. This latter covers the compensation package, reporting relationships, job title, potential career path and the profile, education and experience necessary to accomplish the stated objectives of the vacancy.

The Vacancy Specification and Company Briefing enable us to not only correctly assess candidate suitability for the position, but also to present the Company to the prospective candidate in the proper manner.

At the start of the assignment, approximate timescales for the various stages will be agreed with the Client. From start to finish, regular client contact is maintained, informing the Client of progress.

Research: Based on our in-depth understanding of and empathy with the Client Company, environment and personalities directly involved with the prospective appointee, we then commence our search:

The individuals with the desired quality are usually not seeking a new position: therefore, they must be sought out. Our process is to methodically research and analyse the companies and/or market sectors that we, in conjunction with the client, have identified as being the most likely current locations of our candidates.

We then approach these individuals directly to ascertain their relevance for the job and level of interest. We will then arrange a face-to-face interview between the prospective candidate and ourselves. We are seeking those who not only meet with the vacancy specification, but who have established repetitive patterns of accomplishment and success in like positions.

Completion: Following face-to-face interviews, a short list of candidates best suited to the position and who have a genuine interest will be drafted. The short-listed candidates will then be presented to the Client for interview.
